2026 foaling season came to an end last week.

Rosebud had a BIG boy, with long legs, and some unique patches of white. He is frisky and brave.

These babies are really growing. Now in the big pen together, they can all get to be friends and play.

This is Part 2 of our Easter weekend deliveries. Born at 12:30am Sunday morning.

Fancy did well and gave us a BIG perfectly marked boy. We've decided this c**t is one of the leggiest foals we've ever had in over 30 years of breeding.

So that makes our DGS Shires foal tally at:
2 fillies
1 c**t
With 2 more mommas left to go

Until our next mares foaling window, we will enjoy some full nights of sleep, without watching the cameras multiple times a night.🥴😴😴

We had a busy weekend in the maternity ward.....

First up was our sweet mamma, Willow. She had a beautifully marked little filly early on Friday morning.

At Day 2, we like to put our babies in a "backyard nursery" during the day, so we can keep a close eye on them. This filly still needs to unfold a little, but she is already moving gracefully.

One week old and she's all stretched out and standing tall. Looks and moves so much like her daddy, Jenson's Indy Professor Middleton.

Any day now...these 2 mares are waxing, and are stalled overnight, so we can watch them on the cameras.

Gender reveals starting in about 3 weeks, so give us your guess...how many c**ts vs how many fillies? This year baby names start with the letter "E". Let us know your ideas.

It was a busy day getting the maternity wards ready with a good deep cleaning, thick fresh bedding, and the installation of new cameras. Had a little fun during chore time and took some pregnancy belly photos. Praying for safe and easy foaling. Once these babies are weaned they will be looking for new homes. Let us know if you need one or two.🥰
