A little Bee Farmee thought for your Saturday. 🌿

I get asked from time to time why I don't sell Bee Farmee online anymore, and the answer is actually pretty simple.

I like it this way.

I like making in small batches. I like being able to walk over to the shelf and see what's selling. I like hearing what you're loving, what you need, and what you'd like me to make next. And I REALLY like being able to keep an eye on every single thing that leaves my production room.

Could I make more? Probably.

Could I ship more places? Sure.

But bigger isn't always the goal.

Right now, Bee Farmee lives at Farm Hippie, where I can make it, stock it, fuss over it, talk to you about it, and make sure I'm still proud of what's sitting on that shelf.

And I'm pretty happy with that. 🐝❤️

Here's the funny thing about self-care: when you actually NEED it is usually when you're the least likely to sit there and think of something nice to do for yourself. 😂

So make the decision ahead of time.

Fill a jar with little things that make you feel good—take a bath, read a few chapters, go outside, make your favorite tea, take a nap, call someone you love, put your phone away for an hour, use the fancy skincare you've been saving...

Whatever fills YOUR cup.

Then on the days when you're tired, overwhelmed, cranky, touched-out, or just plain DONE...

Let the jar decide. ❤️

And yes, “eat something delicious and hide from everyone for 30 minutes” is a perfectly acceptable slip of paper. 😂

For years, this Bee Farmee staple has answered to the very creative name of... Leave-In Conditioner. 😂

Well, she finally got a name, some new clothes, AND a newly updated formula.

Meet Rosewater Revival. 🌹

One of her leading ingredients is rose hydrosol—the aromatic botanical water produced during the steam distillation of roses. In other words, we didn't just want this to smell like roses, we wanted the *benefits* of them.

One thing about living and working around Bee Farmee: we apparently never walk past a cool d3d bug. 😂

We recently found this beauty completely intact in our farmyard, so naturally it came home with us.

My daughter—who also happens to be Bee Farmee’s production room champ—has a love for entomology and an incredible talent for preserving the little pieces of nature most of us would probably walk right past.

And word is apparently getting around.

Yesterday, someone found an end-of-cycle Luna moth on the sidewalk outside our building and knew exactly who needed to have it. ❤️

So yes. This is where we are now.

Other families bring each other flowers.

We bring our daughter d3d bugs. 🤣

And she turns them into something beautiful.

Nature is endlessly fascinating—even after its tiniest creatures have finished their time here. 🐝🌿🦋

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from Bee Farmee!

This year, we have a brand-new little face to celebrate. ❤️

Meet Miss Molly Wags!

We adopted Molly from the Tulsa SPCA just last week, and she has already begun settling into life alongside our own Murphy Brown—rescue pup, service dog, Bee Farmee sidekick, and now... mentor to a service-dog apprentice-to-be. 🥹

Molly has a long way to go before we know whether service work will ultimately be right for her, so right now her job is pretty simple: learn, build confidence, follow Murphy's lead, and enjoy being very, very loved.

And Murphy? He's apparently been promoted to upper management. 😂

Longtime Bee Farmee friends may already know that Murphy even inspired his own product—our completely edible, nontoxic paw & nose lotion, because when your constant companion spends his life taking care of you, you take pretty good care of him, too. 🐾

There's something especially sweet about watching him welcome another rescue pup into the life that changed his own.

So on National Dog Day, here's to Murphy Brown, Miss Molly Wags, and all the dogs who become so much more than pets.

One of the funny things about owning Bee Farmee AND Farm Hippie is that sometimes I make something new... and then get to walk it right over to the shelves. 😂

No buyer meetings. No sales pitch. No convincing the store owner to give me a chance. She's pretty easy to work with. 😉

Our new Body Oil has officially made that little journey, and seeing a new Bee Farmee product sitting on the Farm Hippie shelves never really gets old.

I've shared quite a bit about this one already, so I won't give you the whole spiel again. You know her. You may have even met her by now. 😂

But I had these pretty pictures, I needed something to post today, and frankly, that's reason enough to remind you that she's new, she's here, and I'm awfully happy with how she turned out.

Self-Care Sunday 🌿

Filling your own cup isn’t selfish. It’s maintenance.

We give so much of ourselves—to our families, our work, our homes, our people—and it’s easy to treat our own care like something we’ll get around to when everything else is finished.

But everything else is never finished.

Today, give yourself permission to be on your own list. Rest. Take the long shower. Read the book. Go outside. Make the tea. Use the good lotion. Say no to something. Do absolutely nothing for a little while.

Whatever fills your cup, make room for it.

Because caring for yourself doesn’t take away from what you have to give others. It helps make sure there’s still something left to give. 💛
