🌸 Meet Cody: Husband, Dad & Unpaid Farmhand. 😂🌸

The kids are back in school, which means Cody and I finally have some quality time together again…

So naturally, he helps with the flowers. 🤣

Need something mowed? Cody.
Something hauled? Cody.
Something fixed? Definitely Cody.
Need me to come up with another task five minutes after he finishes the last one? Yup, Cody. 😂

But honestly, I love that we get to do this together. ❤️ Now that the kids are in school, we get a little more time to hang out… even if our “dates” involve weeds, dirt, tractors and flowers.

He’s my favorite farmhand. 😉

Marriage is all about compromise, right?
I grow the flowers… he helps me. 😂🌸

🌸 Flowers for a Cause 💛

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. For our family it is very perosnal.

Three years ago, our family’s world was turned upside down when our son was diagnosed with lymphoma. What followed was a journey we never imagined we would walk, filled with fear, uncertainty, strength, hope, and so many people who helped carry us through.

Today, we are incredibly grateful to say that he is a survivor. 💛

Because of his journey, pediatric cancer will always hold a very special place in our hearts. So throughout the month of September, Lakeside Farm and Flowers will be donating a portion of our flower sales to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation in his honor.

Every bouquet picked, and every visit to our farm will help us turn something beautiful into hope for other children and families facing this devastating disease.

🌻 Flowers can bring joy. 🌻 Flowers can bring comfort. 🌻 And together, our flowers can help bring HOPE.

Thank you for supporting our little family farm and for helping us give back to a cause that means more to us than words can say.

Here’s to brighter days, stronger kids, and a future where no family has to hear the words, “Your child has cancer.” 💛
