PineOak Vineyard PineOak is a small, private wine grape vineyard in El Dorado County. We grow amazing grapes and create award-winning wine. The map is incorrect.

We are 1 mile south of the state park.

Yay!! Finished our pruning and we have bud break. Now we have to spray.

We finished fertilizing our vines with organic fertilizer and started our second pruning. Lots of work ahead.

Hi everyone. We started our first pruning and finished rows 1 and 2. We have a long way to go.

Ever since the frost, the vines have become quite vigorous. I'm still shoot thinning and probably will be all summer. Can't believe the growth since the frost.

We did half of our burn pile and finished our pruning. We will finish the rest of the burn pile after the next rain, as long as it is not windy.

We're over halfway with our second pruning. Taking the morning off as it is still drizzling.

We finished with our first pruning and will probably start on our second pruning the beginning of next week. It's a little damp out this morning.

We finished applying organic fertilizer to our grapevines. Now, we will continue with our first pruning.

We have been applying our organic fertilizer to our grapevines and when we finish, we will return to our first pruning. Meanwhile, we enjoyed a terrific walk in the vineyard this morning.

Ron, John and Ron Jr. will be at PineOak Vineyard to play golf today. Julie and Rob will be here also. We'll have to see if we can get them to play golf too.

Ron, John and Ron Jr. played golf yesterday after meeting at the Coloma Club for breakfast. It was a beautiful sunny day but quite cold. They made three holes-in-one and shot in the 60's and 70's. Now it's back to work in the vineyard.

There was some frost in the vineyard for our walk this morning. I think it was about 45 degrees.
