Hi there!
We received quite a bit of interest about buying our meat by the package instead of buying it by bulk quantity. We were planning on having one of our cows butchered the end of this month for that purpose. But we decided to push the butcher date out until this fall to allow her to make use of all the green grass and pack on the pounds.
We will update you again as the date gets closer!

The grass is greening up! Not only does it provide lovely fresh fodder for the cows it also brightens up the country side. We all love it!

Our pasture is split up into 3 main sections. We normally allow access to one section at a time. This is called rotational grazing. It maximizes forage production, distributes manure evenly, and allows for pasture rest and rejuvenation.
Currently, the cows are being kept off the main pastures to allow the grass to get a head start, but believe me, we all are looking forward to them having access to that amazing grass!

Many people are turning to specifically pasture- raised, grass-fed beef. We are just one step ahead of that and are producing beefalo (American Bison/cattle cross). We only have one 1/4 Beefalo available for reservation left!! It will be processed mid April. You get to choose your cuts. $4 a lb hanging weight + processing fees. Processed near Colon MI. Feel free to message us with any questions.
