🔥 Summer's packing up, and honestly? Good.

Fall is our favorite season in Colonial Beach. Cooler evenings, no bugs, no jellyfish, and no traffic jams. Just long nights in the beer garden with the firepit going.

Here's the week:

🍷 Tuesday: $5/glass wines, plus Book Club at 6pm
🗳️ Wednesday 8pm: Candidates Forum Afterparty - head to the forum at CB Elementary at 6pm, then come talk it out over a $5 wine or pint
🎤 Thursday: Open Mic 7-10pm with Brian A. Jarboe, plus $3 pours of Ironclad Irish Stout
🎨 Friday 6-9pm: Art Walk Sip N' Stroll with live music from Shim Dogs
🎸 Saturday 7-10pm: Live music with Junkyard Jones
🌅 Sunday: $15 flagship pitchers

🥗 Labor Day lunch, sorted.

Our Greek Salad - artichoke, feta, kalamata, cucumber, tomato, red onion over greens with house vinaigrette. Or the Greek Chicken Flatbread, loaded with seasoned chicken, spinach, feta, and roasted garlic.

We're open 12-6pm today. Come get one more long-weekend afternoon in before summer clocks out.

🎶 Sunday sorted: Danny B plays 2-5pm today.

Mellow, easy-going stuff - contemporary tunes from the 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond, exactly the speed a long-weekend afternoon should move at.

🥤 And yes, we make our own root beer. Deep, cold, poured over ice, zero proof and all flavor. A hit with the under-21 crowd and plenty of the over-21 crowd too.

Pitchers are $15, the kitchen's open, and there's no reason to be anywhere else.

🏖️ LABOR DAY WEEKEND starts now, and we've got all four days covered:

🍻 FRIDAY (today): Hoppy Hour 5-7pm, $5 flagship pints. Clock out, come over.

🎸 SATURDAY: The Chauncey Fortune Band, 7-10pm. Northern Neck swamp rock and blues, heavy on the originals, with Chauncey's buttery smooth vocals out front.

🎶 SUNDAY: Danny B brings his solo set, 2-5pm. Just a guy, a guitar, and an easy afternoon. Exactly right for the last Sunday of summer.

🌤️ MONDAY (Labor Day): We're open 12pm-6pm. Come squeeze the last drop out of the long weekend.

Beach Haze is on tap all weekend, and the kitchen's slinging Mediterranean eats.

🧠 IT'S BACK. Trivia returns to CBB this Wednesday at 6:30pm!

Same brain-busting fun, new rhythm: trivia now runs the FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month. John Heath takes the mic tonight.

Round up your smartest friends (or your funniest, they help too). The winning team walks away with drink tickets, and everybody else still gets great beer, so nobody really loses.
