Friend Dede Downs made a build-a-bear for our Beulah Fire Fighters District and Rye Fire Fighters District. These depts fought the Aspen Acres Fire 2026 before the Alaska Incident Team arrived.

They all did incredible work - saving homes! Not a single life was lost.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. From Colorado City...

You know we had some significant rain last night when the toads are out!!

Rick and I took a drive yesterday to Beulah for the purpose of delivering yarn for artist/crafters who lost everything. A gal was coordinating efforts in this needs area.

We took one of the back ways - 3R road. The firefighters were amazing in how they were able to save homes with fires burning on every side!

Just by driving this road you see and understand the immensity of the Aspen Acres Fire 2026 and the devastation to our land and environment.

A job well done - Firefighters!! We all are grateful.
