๐บ NEW BEER ON TAP TODAY!
Meet the Skoda Trekka NZ Pilsner โ 5.1% ABV | 30 IBU.
This one starts with Colorado Root Shoot Pilsner malt, then gets Wakatu hops straight from New Zealand and an experimental X-Tropica Thiol Yeast from Brewers Science Institute in Woodland Park. That yeast helps bring out even more aroma and flavor from the hops, giving this pilsner plenty of tropical fruit and bright dark-fruit notes while keeping it light, crisp and refreshing.
And of course, thereโs a little car history behind the name. The Skoda Trekka was New Zealandโs only locally designed and mass-produced motor vehicle - a light utility vehicle built between 1966 and 1972. Only about 2,500 were made, using the engine, gearbox and chassis imported from Czech manufacturer Skoda.
