That's a wrap, folks. We can not express into words how much this community means to us. The support, the beer, the friends we made, and the memories that were made here make it so difficult to close our doors. Tomorrow, we'll be hosting a book signing with Eric Palmer, author of Static Lines: Letters from a Kansas City Paratrooper.

In 2010, Palmer was given a box of letters written by his wife's great uncle to his mother back home in Kansas City while he was serving as a paratrooper in WWII. Weaving together these letters, interviews, and research, Palmer has crafted an engaging first-hand account of a young man's experience of the war.
