Six courses. One night. A table worth gathering around. 🥂

Chef’s Counter with Chef Fernando Trancoso is coming to WestFax Springs on Sunday, September 6th. The event is an intimate six-course dining experience featuring a chef-driven menu from Pin-Txi Wey, thoughtfully paired with the craft beer and atmosphere of WestFax.

The menu:

FIRST COURSE
Piquillo pepper stuffed with Gouda and Spanish chorizo, served over garbanzo puree

SECOND COURSE
Fresh yellowfin tuna, passion fruit leche de tigre, onion pearls

THIRD COURSE
Colossal shrimp zarandeado, quinoa tabbouleh

FOURTH COURSE
Chicharron in a red chile sauce, tetela stuffed with asadero, Oaxacan crema, homemade fresco

FIFTH COURSE
Barbacoa (Northern Mexico style), saffron risotto

SIXTH COURSE
Passion fruit semifreddo, pepita/Marsala blondie, berry compote

Beerio Kart Bracket Rules:

1. Each racer starts with one full beer.
Your drink must remain untouched until the race begins.

2. Finish your beer before crossing the finish line.
You can drink before the race starts, during the race, or after stopping-but your beer must be gone before you finish.

3. No drinking while your kart is moving.
You must come to a complete stop to take a drink.

4. Standard Mario Kart rules apply.
Race normally, use items, and complete all laps.

5. Bracket-style elimination.
The winner of each race advances until one champion remains.

6. Breaking a Beerio Kart rule = disqualification.
Driving while drinking or crossing the finish line before finishing your beer results in a DQ.
