Hello friends!

I get the question all the time.... "are you still cooking meals?" The answer is a resounding YES!!!! Every single week I am either filling orders, or stocking up my freezer with frozen meals for future orders.

Simply put: If my website is still up, I'm still cooking! :)

I have not been doing my weekly specials at the same rate I was last winter, but my frozen meals are ALWAYS available! (A little backstory is that I was warned I could catch the attention of the Health Department and be considered a "kitchen," and therefore have to come under their authority. This is not something I was willing to do. As you know, my heart for Manna is simply to cook for my family and friends! I want to bless others with food when they don't feel like cooking, or when they need a quick meal to deliver to a friend in need. I make very little money doing this (in fact, probably zero given the amount of meals I give away for free to those who are sick or in need!) and want it to continue to be my side blessing for others.)

But since I wanted to give this little update, I figured why not go ahead and plan a weekly special? Back by popular demand, I'll be making that yummy Green Chile Chicken Soup again here in a couple of weeks! It will be available for pickup Monday, September 30 - Thursday, October 3rd.

Hello beautiful friends, just a reminder that I am cooking a FRESH MEAL all this coming week, and you can pickup dinner for your family Monday - Thursday! I am making Feta Pasta with grilled chicken, a great pasta dish for summer. Can be made gluten free and/or vegetarian as well.

But now that summer is here, I’d say it’s time for another weekly special. June 17-20th, I’m going to be cooking up a delicious fresh meal that my daughter asks for constantly. I even made it for a friend last week and she reported that her family begged for more!

This dish is called Feta Pasta (with grilled chicken), and it’s savory, tangy, and though it’s a “warm” dish, it’s perfect for summer. Feta pasta, basil and crushed tomatoes make up the light sauce, mixed with penne pasta and slices of grilled chicken all tossed together.

Best of all, this dish can easily be made GLUTEN FREE and/or vegetarian!

Order soon and select your pickup day for any day Monday, June 17th - Thursday, June 20th. And feel free to throw in some extra freezer meals for the days you don’t want to cook as well!

Hi friends! I'm back to cooking again next week and would love to have the honor of providing a meal for your family! After a very busy January, I can hardly wait to jump back into the kitchen.

Next week's special will be a repeat of Amy's Chicken - a deliciously creamy and slightly spicy dish, served with pasta and green beans, OR with rice instead of pasta to make it a GF option.

I will be cooking this meal FOUR days next week, February 12 - 15, so be sure to place your order for one of those days!

Happy New Year Friends and ! I hope 2024 is filled with many blessings for all of you.
My next weekly special will start just one week from today - January 8th! Back by popular demand, I am once again making green chile chicken soup. This soup is the perfect blend of warmth, creamy, and cheesy comfort on winter nights. When we did this special in October, my crockpot worked non-stop all week!

Hi and friends, getting ready to cook this weekly special this week - broccoli chicken casserole. This dish has been a favorite of ours for 25 years and best of all, I make it GLUTEN FREE! This dish does not freeze well, so it’s not available all the time. But for three days this week, I am cooking to order for anyone who wants it! Tuesday 11/28 - Thursday 11/30 it will be available for pickup. Just $6 per serving!!

Getting excited to start cooking next week's special... Chicken OR Shrimp Sambal with Fried Rice! This meal was inspired by my favorite Asian restaurant in a small town in Eastern Tennessee. Since I don't get back there very often, I knew I had to try and make it on my own. Best of all, it's Gluten Free!

Will be available FRESH for pickup four days next week - Monday, October 30th - Thursday, November 2nd.

Happy Saturday my friends and !!! Quick little announcement here... I have decided to discontinue the stuffed shells and in their place, I have added lasagna to my frozen meal menu! Exact same ingredients, just in a different form.

Thank you , this was such a great week! We made nearly 100 servings of soup, were able to give quite a few away to people who are carrying heavy burdens right now, were able to deliver some orders to people in difficult circumstances (thanks to my best delivery gal Meghan Lindell ☀️) and just overall it was such a success making the green chile soup. Thanks for everyone who placed an order! Can’t wait to do another weekly special - next one coming up at the end of this month. I’ll promote that soon!!!

I had a question about next week’s fresh meal special - “how spicy is this?” Answer: hardly at all! I use very mild chiles in this. I would definitely characterize it as mild with a tasty kick. I dare to say even my mother Terri and mother-in-law Cathy could handle it! 😂
Also to note: even my VERY picky hubby Matt likes this meal!

Many of you know that two years ago I went through extensive health problems including a broken foot and heart attack... during this time, we had countless meals brought to our family, and this is one my darling friend Erin Yeadon brought to us. As soon as I tasted it, I knew I had to have the recipe!
This is the #1 requested meal in our Friday night life.group when I make dinner. It's hearty with shredded chicken, black beans, and corn in a tasty, cheesy broth. It's also naturally gluten-free, making it even more popular and easy on tummies! I will be cooking a big batch of this for three days in a row - October 3rd, 4th and 5th. Be sure to place an order to have a yummy dinner that night! The soup will also come with our favorite topping - tortilla chips! (Many want to top this with cheese - you can, but there is already a TON of melted cheese in the soup itself. Also, the reason it doesn't turn out well if frozen).
