Before anyone panics next Monday wondering where their food is 😂...

This Saturday, Chef in Boots will be participating in Kidpower's Chocoholic Frolic, where we were invited to serve as one of the event's chocolatiers while helping raise funds for an incredible organization. 🍫💛 We'll be serving approximately 350 guests, so my team and I will be taking Sunday to rest, regroup, and prepare for meal prep production. Because of that, all pickups and deliveries will take place on **Tuesday, June 16** this week.

As always, this week's menu is packed with fresh favorites, easy meals for busy schedules, and some of my favorite summer flavors. ☀️🍽️

🐘💛 The answer was... ELEPHANTS! 💛🐘

And surprisingly, only ONE person guessed correctly! 😄👏

Elephants have been my favorite animal for as long as I can remember, and the reason goes all the way back to my Grandma Elaine. She loved elephants and had elephant figurines all throughout her home when I was growing up. After she passed, I was fortunate enough to bring a few of them home with me, and they've become some of my most treasured keepsakes. 💛

So while I absolutely love elephants as animals, I think what I really love is the connection they give me to my grandma. Naturally, when Colton proposed at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, one of our first stops afterward was the elephant exhibit so we could celebrate with them too. 🥹💍🐘

Oh, and hubby's favorite? 🦦 The otters! He's been talking about swimming with them for years and is determined to make it happen one day. 😂

Started the day with a drop-off lunch at the beautiful Penrose House 👩‍🍳🍽️ and then spontaneously headed up to Denver with my hubby for a zoo trip followed by the Rockies vs. Cubs game! 🐻⚾

🌸✨ May Business Recap! ✨🌸

What. A. Month. 💛

May was packed full in the very best way — catered events, meal prep deliveries, a perfect health inspection, a feature on KRDO… and even a much-needed Disney trip with my new hubby in the middle of it all. 🏰💍

And yes… those meal prep numbers are with one full week off in May because the event calendar was stacked 😅🙌 Plus, they don’t even include breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, parfaits, snackies, or add-ons… which honestly makes this month feel even more wild (and exciting!).

Every order placed, every event booked, every share, referral, review, and kind message truly means so much. Chef in Boots continues to grow because of this amazing community, and I don’t take that for granted for a second.

Thank you for keeping me busy, trusting me with your meals and your events, and continuing to cheer on this little business. I’m so incredibly grateful — and so excited for everything summer has in store. ☀️👩‍🍳💛
