First up...you still have time to order! 🎉 This week's shortened menu is available to order through TOMORROW, Monday, August 31 at NOON! If you've been meaning to get your order in, don't forget before that deadline sneaks up on you! 👀

I did a little calendar Tetris and figured out a way to squeeze in a shortened meal prep menu with THURSDAY pickup & delivery! 🎉

First, I'm sneaking away for a short weekend getaway with the hubby—which is VERY much needed after how busy these last few months have been! 😅💛 I'll be back late Monday night and then it's straight into the kitchen Tuesday morning to tackle BOTH your meal prep orders AND a catered lunch for Thursday. Because apparently we don't ease back into things around here. 😂👩‍🍳

The menu may be a little smaller than usual, but there are still plenty of fresh, homemade goodies to stock your fridge and make life a little easier!

📅🍽️ SEPTEMBER MEAL PREP SCHEDULE! 🍽️📅

Okay friends...September is going to be a little CRAZY around here. 😅 Between ranch trips, events, and everything else on the Chef in Boots calendar, I originally wasn't sure I was going to be able to offer much meal prep at all this month. BUT...I know how much so many of you rely on your weekly meals, so I've done some calendar Tetris and found a way to squeeze in shortened menus with a few later-than-usual delivery days! 🎉

I'm home from another whirlwind few days of cooking out on the Western Slope, and this week's meal prep menu is officially LIVE! 🎉 After breakfasts, lunches, happy hours, dinners, desserts (and approximately one million dishes 😂), I'm excited to switch gears and get back in the kitchen cooking for all of YOU!

🏔️🧽 NOT A BAD VIEW FOR WASHING DISHES, HUH?! 😍

I absolutely LOVE my business and my clients back home in Colorado Springs, but one of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to experience a completely different side of Colorado every time I head out to the ranch. And views like this certainly don't hurt! 🤠💛

I'll officially be "out of office" tomorrow through Wednesday while I trade weekly meal prep for cooking breakfasts, lunches, happy hour appetizers, dinners AND desserts for 21 people out here on the Western Slope! 👩‍🍳🍳🥗🍷🍽️🍰 It's going to be a busy few days, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'll have limited time to check messages and emails while I'm here, so please be patient with me if it takes a little longer than usual to hear back. In the meantime, I'll be cooking up a storm...with a pretty incredible view from the kitchen. 😂🏔️💛

Did you know we've partnered with another local company working right alongside us in our shared commercial kitchen for one of this week's meals?!

When I started designing this week's Bánh Mì Bento Box, I knew I wanted those tangy, crunchy pickled carrots that make a bánh mì SO good—and I immediately knew exactly who I wanted to make them. Moon Peppers Co. ! 🌶️

They make INCREDIBLE pickled everything, and rather than making my own, why wouldn't I take the opportunity to support another small Colorado Springs business AND give you something they've already perfected?! 🙌

So those delicious pickled carrots tucked alongside the Lemongrass Chicken Bites, Vietnamese Cucumber Salad, Toasted Baguette & Sriracha Lime Dip this week? They're made locally by our friends at Moon Peppers! 🥕😍

📅 A Quick Scheduling Update 💛

As many of you know, it's that time of year when I head back out to the ranch for a few weeks of personal chef work. This incredible family is actually the reason Chef in Boots exists today—they gave me my very first opportunity as a personal chef back in 2016, and I've been lucky enough to cook for them several times per year since. It's one of my favorite traditions, and I'm so grateful our paths crossed all those years ago. Because of that, meal prep will look a little different over the next month and a half. There may be a few schedule shifts as I balance both sides of Chef in Boots, but I'll do my very best to keep things as consistent as possible and will continue communicating the schedule well in advance so you always know what's coming.

Thank you, as always, for your flexibility, understanding, and support. It means the world to me that this little business allows me to continue serving the family who helped launch this journey while also serving all of you here at home. I truly have the best clients, and I can't wait to keep bringing you delicious meals—whether I'm cooking here in Colorado Springs or out on the ranch! 🤠👩‍🍳💛
