CHEERS DOG OF THE WEEK is JESS!

Meet Jess!

Jess is a tiny 3-month-old Pug weighing 7.5 pounds who is ready to bring plenty of joy, playfulness, and snuggles into her forever home! This sweet girl is adventurous and friendly, and she loves spending time with her people.

Jess does have impaired vision in both eyes, so her future family will need to be prepared to help her navigate her new environment. She will likely rely on routine and consistency as she becomes familiar with her surroundings. Jess is scheduled to see an ophthalmologist to help determine the cause of her impaired vision, and we will know more about her ongoing needs following that evaluation.

As a young puppy, Jess will need a family committed to proper training, socialization, and helping her learn about the world around her. Providing a predictable routine and allowing her time to become familiar with her new home will help her feel comfortable and confident.

Jess will need to complete her spay surgery before heading home. Her adoption fee is $400.

A required in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help ensure a good fit for Jess and her potential adopters.
