June got Chaotic, so instead of going on an outing we decided to have our own in house show. The kids worked hard to throw this together which included, building fences, setting up courses, and assigning volunteers for judge (thank you Rob), gate crew, warm up volunteer, and an amazing grill master (thank you Magna for donating Mike for the day). Not only did all the participants showcase some lovely riding, but the teamwork and support from all the riders made me very proud of my young horse people. Thank you Megan for the amazing pictures of the day, you are also truly talented.

What a wonderful way to kick off the season. Thank you Hinckley Equestrian Center for again hosting such a friendly and well run combined test! Arden and Piper impressed me with a fabulous first outing. Adeline catch rode Flashy in Starter and after a normal tense dressage test completed a flawless stadium round with no stirrups. Addi and Roy preformed thier personal best in my opinion with a lovely relaxed dressage test, two Roy run outs in stadium but otherwise a great ride. Gigi and Puss had a beautiful dressage test, but the old man seemed a little over it for stadium. Last minute entry Paige and Mia had a pleasant dressage test and then sped around stadium like a fit pair. And wild card of the weekend Jess had a sudden horse swap Thursday evening due to Andy pulling a shoe and took my boy Apollo for his first show, The team looked great in Blue. But the highlight of my weekend was the complement from our stall neighbor about how polite and supportive my group was and how wonderful they were with each other and others. Beyond proud of my team, not only in their riding but in the humans they are becoming. (Also I have the greatest barn parents out there and am forever grateful to the people I surrond myself with).

Congratulations to Michel Joseph on the purchase of Meteor. Watching this sweet boy leave the driveway was bitter sweet, having been there every step of the way with him. He deserves his own person and I am so excited to see where Michel takes him in life and what he becomes. Please keep us up to date on all his adventures. We sure will miss this goofy guy.
