Chicken pot pie. Filled to the brim with hot, flavorful vegetables, roasted chicken, and thickened with a savory roux. The savory pie crust made with locally created butter came out so tender and flaky.

Meatloaf Dinner. You can thank South Mountain Creamery for the delicious ingredients used today! The sauce on the hearty, savory meatloaf balances it with a sweet note and helps keep it moist while in the oven.

The carrots are my honey glazed carrots, delicious, sweet with a bit of a pepper hit this time. The honey I used was sweeter tasting (different hive from last time) and needed to be balanced out a bit.

The sour cream and herb potatoes help lift everything up with fresh herbs (chives and parsley this time). Because of everything being so sweet, the sour cream give your mouth a break so you can appreciate the other flavors without getting bored!
