We will honor our Brother Raekwon Cave and pray for the people just as he would.

Our brother, Raekwon prayed for all of us. For the last 5 years, he has taught our young scholars how to pray at Koinonia. Our hearts are broken. Please pray for Raekwon’s mother and fiancé and all of our children and families at Koinonia.
Today, Eau Claire Baptist Church is having a community-wide Back to School Prayer event in which Mr. Raekwon was going to lead Koinonia’s Prayer Station. (4pm-6:30pm)

The day before Mr. Raekwon was called home, he sent our Program Director, Ms. D’Asia Weston and me a message that asked for this verse from 1 Timothy 4 to be shared with our scholars every day:

12 Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.

Our scholars will do this today as they lead the Prayer Station at the event in memory of Mr. Raekwon and in honor of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who holds our broken hearts.

On behalf of our family here at Spry’s Durty Kitchen we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Mother, Fiance, Kelly Strum Eau Claire Baptist Church Columbia College, SC CC Call Me MiSTER for the tremendous loss of our friend and forever Brother Da Fisherman

Mr. Raekwon you supported our family in the kitchen, in support of our small family owned business, on and off the court, on and off the field, in the booth, in school, at church, man you were a true inspiration OUR BROTHER. You said you was going come through when we get our brick and mortar, we going have a VIP section waiting with your chicken wings fried extra hard with two ranches on the side. Bro and we Prociate you allowing us to cater for MANY occasions for our Koinonia family and will never forget creating something special just for you at your photo shoot for God Got Me at the Summer Finale.

Going to miss you man, from our family to yours we love ya behind. s/O to God.

On behalf of our family here at Spry’s Durty Kitchen we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends (especially his mother, Ms. Dorothy and Fiance, Jasamine) our Koinonia of Columbia, Inc and Eau Claire Baptist Church for the great loss of our beloved brother Mr. Raekwon Cave aka Da Fisherman.

We would like to thank Koinonia for creating this space where we could come and reflect on a life well lived and thank Eau Claire Baptist Church for opening your space to make this all happen.

To Mr. Raekwon, Thank you for your support, speaking life and growth of our small family owned business, supporting the guys and off the the court, and for living up to your name 💯.
