So I teased some time back about a large box I picked up. I haven't followed up with any details, but here's a teaser. For Mayhaws, we use a "shake and catch method". This efficiently removes all fruit from the tree and catches it for a clean catch. Our team at LMM has built a custom Mayhaw Harvester. It can harvest a Mayhaw trees in less than a minute, which is important when you're trying to harvest over 6000 trees in a couple weeks time frame. I'm excited as our orchard continues to mature and we can make Mayhaw more available for more people, so they can taste that unique Mayhaw flavor!
