It's been a beautiful Friday to finish off a wonderful week! Got another batch of peppers harvested and processed, we've met some new friends this week who will be gardening along side us for fall, finished up a couple batches of chickens which included processing, parting, packaging, tracking weight data, making stock and dog food from the innards and carcasses. Got to spend some time in the garden this week harvesting and cleaning up for fall crops, took a day trip out to Lake Wateree, celebrated birthdays, and completed our 11th week of 9th/10th grade homeschool.

💪 PE class…farm kid style! We spent the day mixing up organic compost and peat moss, filling 10 gallon bags, weighing out and bagging up fertilizer and wool in preparation for our organic potato grow along this fall! Our girl Mango 🐾 was watching and checking work making sure standards were met and there was no slacking on the job!

🤩 🥳 our very first homegrown sponge 🧽 growing these luffa gourds has been such a fun plant to add to the garden this year and definitely earned a permanent spot each summer, so easy to grow and a heavy producer as well!
