Meanwhile, at the ranch…. some new and unusual creatures arrived. This will be fun…. someone once said….

On a happy note, the Bible refers to us people as sheep and I can’t help looking at these creatures and thinking of all the Scriptures that make reference to sheep. This should be interesting and inspiring perhaps.

This was a great end to not only a great weekend but an awesome internship spent with Zac Wolfe. Reid and Zac spent a lot of time tracking, hunting, and scoping out a big buck for Reid. As Zac’s internship comes to end, they go out one last time and with a BANG!! BIG BUCK DOWN, Boys! Way to go! Zac will be missed but never forgotten as he returns home and back to college. We wish him the best and we appreciate the time, memories, and fun we had while he was here!

Tye & Reid had a blast yesterday in Perry Ga. At the Georgia Livestock Foundation Expo. 1st & 2nd in class. A Big Thanks to Zac Wolfe for his guidance & patience in getting the boys kicked off with their show careers this fall.

Just a picture from way back in the files of this dude in his working clothes while covering heifers; because I was too busy to think about a camera while working bulls yesterday.

Love your neighbor as yourself is the second greatest command Jesus told his disciples following love God first and foremost above all other things. And we were blessed to be on the receiving end of the love shown to us through our family, friends, and neighbors who so willingly gave of their time, talents, and resources to help us take on the many aspects that go into hosting a cattle sale.

Humility and gratitude are the quiet whispers that are spoken around our place. Just a common farm with regular daily mishaps of broken fences, leaky pipes, flat tires, orphaned calves and the likes with ordinary people working to make it through another day. But, if ever we were to stop a moment to brag!! The time is now!! And our team is the one!!!
These 3 people right here deserve to be in the spotlight (while none of them would want to ever be in the spotlight). They work tirelessly, responsibly, and willingly without complaint or a fuss. This is who they are and what they mean to us at JYJ;
