We are proud of our kids participating in 4H chick chain this year! It’s been a long and rewarding process for the kids to learn how to take care of baby chicks that have now turned into producing layers. They had to keep a summer record book of all the care, feed, and lessons learned. We highly recommend and support 4H as it’s a great educational experience for the entire family!

If anyone is interested in purchasing a few laying hens to support their efforts please let me know. We are headed to the auction this morning to win their chickens back!!!!

We’ve been quiet lately as it’s been a busy summer that went by too quick! A few pics from around the farm…we have sunflowers 🌻 elderberry growing, onions, heirloom tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, apples, peppers, and so much more organic produce.

We are currently focusing on replanting our orchard and fruit bushes hoping to provide organic fruits and US grown elderberries to the markets and local stores in the future. 🍇 🍎 🍏 🫐

If you’re a foodie like me, I’m sure you love Mama Mila’s in Columbia like we do. Mila generously shared her Italian bread flour with me to do a little experiment. Tonight I’m delivering her a freshly made sourdough bread loaf made with her chemical free flour imported from Italy. 🇮🇹 🍞 I made one for us too. I will say it’s amazing!!!

TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS- There will NOT be a farmers market today at the factory in Columbia. Because we care about our customers we want to inform everyone that we will not be there tonight as the market is on a temporary pause. We will be back at the Factory soon during a pop up date to be announced soon.

We wanted you to know so you do not show up excited for rolls, cream pies, bread or eggs and no one is there.

If you need anything this week I have the following items available via pre-order for farm pick up Friday morning:
