We have a few extra dozen of eggs available for purchase if anyone is interested in free ranged organic eggs fed with no soy or corn. Pick up at our farm or in Franklin this week!

Why Buy Local Farm-Fresh Eggs? 🥚🌿

When you buy eggs from a local farmer, you know where your food comes from. Farm-fresh eggs can be collected locally, handled with care, and sold much closer to the source—meaning less time in transportation and storage. Unlike commercially processed eggs, locally sourced eggs retain their natural protective bloom and no washed with chemicals.

Supporting a local farmer also means supporting responsible, transparent food production and knowing the people behind the food you feed your family. Fresh, local, simple, and straight from the farm. Thank you ~ Sandy Creek

We are proud of our kids participating in 4H chick chain this year! It’s been a long and rewarding process for the kids to learn how to take care of baby chicks that have now turned into producing layers. They had to keep a summer record book of all the care, feed, and lessons learned. We highly recommend and support 4H as it’s a great educational experience for the entire family!

If anyone is interested in purchasing a few laying hens to support their efforts please let me know. We are headed to the auction this morning to win their chickens back!!!!

We will have gold sexlinks one of the highest egg producers and olive eggers. 🐓 🥚 🏆

🌿 NEW THIS YEAR at Sandy Creek Farm! 🌿

HOT OFF THE PRESS ~ New batch available this week!

Our Extra-Strength Elderberry Syrup is back—and we’re making it easier than ever to stock up! 💜

Made right here at Sandy Creek Farm with a strong, carefully crafted recipe and local honey sourced from our partner and grower, Farmer Dave, in Chapel Hill & others in Maury County, TN. 🍯

This week thank you Local Honeys ‘n’ Such for providing your amazing honey for our batch!

We make ours extra strength because we believe in making a syrup we can feel good about giving our own family. It’s packed with elderberries and naturally occurring plant compounds traditionally used to support the immune system. Whether you’re looking to support your family during cold & flu season or simply want to make elderberry part of your wellness routine, this is one of our farm favorites.

And we swear by it! 💜

No more buying two 16 oz jars when you need more.

We’ve been quiet lately as it’s been a busy summer that went by too quick! A few pics from around the farm…we have sunflowers 🌻 elderberry growing, onions, heirloom tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, apples, peppers, and so much more organic produce.

We are currently focusing on replanting our orchard and fruit bushes hoping to provide organic fruits and US grown elderberries to the markets and local stores in the future. 🍇 🍎 🍏 🫐

If you’re a foodie like me, I’m sure you love Mama Mila’s in Columbia like we do. Mila generously shared her Italian bread flour with me to do a little experiment. Tonight I’m delivering her a freshly made sourdough bread loaf made with her chemical free flour imported from Italy. 🇮🇹 🍞 I made one for us too. I will say it’s amazing!!!

TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS- There will NOT be a farmers market today at the factory in Columbia. Because we care about our customers we want to inform everyone that we will not be there tonight as the market is on a temporary pause. We will be back at the Factory soon during a pop up date to be announced soon.

We wanted you to know so you do not show up excited for rolls, cream pies, bread or eggs and no one is there.

If you need anything this week I have the following items available via pre-order for farm pick up Friday morning:

Oatmeal cream pies
Jalapeño cheddar boules
Our sourdough rolls
Farm eggs
Goat soaps - local honey & vanilla available!
Sourdough bread loaves
Elderberry syrup

Let me know how I can help!
