Strong allergen control programs don't stop with written procedures; they require ongoing verification.

A third-party audit provides an objective look at how allergen controls are being executed in day-to-day operations, helping identify hidden risks before they become costly issues.

Read our latest blog to learn why third-party audits strengthen allergen control programs and build confidence across your organization.

Word-of-mouth is one of the most powerful drivers of trust in the food allergy community.
Families, caregivers, and consumers regularly recommend products and brands they trust. Those recommendations aren't built on marketing; they're built on confidence that a brand is committed to allergen management, transparency, and food safety.

Third-party certification helps reinforce that confidence by demonstrating a commitment to rigorous allergen management practices and independent verification.

Consumers, retailers, and distributors are asking more questions about allergen-related claims; and they deserve answers they can trust.

Certified Free From™ Allergens helps brands demonstrate their commitment to allergen management through independent, third-party certification. By verifying your processes and supporting your claims, certification helps build credibility, strengthen consumer confidence, and differentiate your products in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Trust isn't just claimed, it's demonstrated.

A product label is important, but it only tells part of the story.

Strong allergen management starts long before a product reaches the shelf. It requires a comprehensive audit of the supply-chain approval process, employee training, production practices, sanitation procedures, and systems designed to reduce the risk of cross-contact.

When those processes are certified by a 3rd party, consumers can have even greater confidence in the products they choose.

A "free-from" claim can tell consumers what's not in a product, but it doesn't necessarily tell the whole story.

What happens behind the scenes matters just as much. From supply chain approval process and employee training to production practices and ongoing oversight, there's a lot that goes into supporting a free-from claim.

A few brands that back their claims with our trusted CFF certification….I can’t help but wonder why the food allergy community doesn’t demand proof on free from allergens the way those with Celiac Disease demand certification for gluten-free?

Audits, testing products, trust by verify, it matters a great deal in our opinion.
