A few brands that back their claims with our trusted CFF certification….I can’t help but wonder why the food allergy community doesn’t demand proof on free from allergens the way those with Celiac Disease demand certification for gluten-free?

Audits, testing products, trust by verify, it matters a great deal in our opinion.

Expo West made one thing clear: trust and transparency are becoming essential in the free-from allergen space.
We had great conversations with emerging and established brands looking for ways to substantiate allergen claims and build consumer confidence. The takeaway was clear: serving the food allergy community requires more than formulation. It requires proof, strong operational practices, and a commitment to transparency.

Congratulations to Lorissa’s Organic Snacks on an incredible milestone. Their meat sticks are now the only products on the market that are both Certified Free From the Top 9 allergens and USDA Certified Organic, setting a new benchmark for safe and transparent snacking.
We’re proud to partner with brands that continue to raise the bar for consumer safety and trust.

PLMA 2025 was a powerful reminder: allergen-free is no longer just a niche: it's a necessity. The energy at our Certified Free From booth was incredible, with manufacturers, buyers, and industry experts all searching for real solutions to substantiate allergen-free claims. It’s clear that food allergy safety isn’t just a consumer need: it’s something the market is demanding, loudly and passionately.

But here’s the frustration: companies invest in certifications like kosher without hesitation, yet balk when it comes to committing to allergen-free certification: something that directly affects the safety and peace of mind for millions. At CFF, we see first-hand how vital it is to go beyond claims and provide ongoing, verified certainty. If you’re ready to move from “safe enough” to truly safe, let’s connect and build a safer food future together.

Thank you to all who stopped by to share, learn, and challenge the status quo. Let’s keep pushing for what really matters!

We had an amazing time connecting with so many inspiring leaders and advocates at the FAACT Summit in Oak Brook, IL!
It’s always energizing to be surrounded by people who share the same mission—making dining safer, more transparent, and more inclusive for everyone.
We loved catching up with Megan Lavin from Allergy Awesomeness and spending time with Eleanor Garrow-Holding, FAACT President & CEO; Caroline Moassessi, FAACT Vice President, Community Relations; and Jen Jobrack, Principal, The Food Allergy Pros, LLC.
Here’s to continued collaboration and shared progress in the food allergy community.
