Hey friends! 😊
Life has been a little busier this summer than we expected, and because of that, I haven’t been able to update the page as regularly.
When I say busy, yes—there are still 6 kids, a farm, a family, a house we’re renovating, and all the everyday things that come with life. But there have also been a few things that have become a bit more serious and require some extra time and attention right now.
As for the farm, our flock is doing well! They’re simply going through their natural cycles. Some of our older hens have slowed down in egg production, and yes—we keep our old girls. They’ve worked hard and deserve their retirement. 🐔❤️ The younger hens are doing their best to keep up, but we allow our chickens to live naturally, the way they were created to. That means production ebbs and flows with the seasons and stages of life.
On the family side, we’re preparing for another school year while trying to soak up these last few weeks of summer. With a few new things happening in our personal lives, we’d appreciate any prayers and positive thoughts you’re willing to send our way.
For now, I’ll be stocking eggs on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
