There’s always at least one weird one. 😅

We have several oddballs in our flock, but this is Barb. When she’s in trouble (usually for jumping the fence because apparently her giant pasture isn’t big enough), her full name becomes Barbara Streisand Bush. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don’t ask where the name came from—we honestly have no idea either.

But there she is, hopping the fence, singing her little song, with her “Living My Best Life” sign in the background. Honestly, it fits. 🐔

Just one of those happy little farm moments that makes me smile.

As of my last check (around 9:30), we still had a few dozen pasture-raised rainbow dozens available!

Hope you all have an awesome weekend, friends! ☀️🥚

😫 Not exactly what I was hoping to walk into this evening.

Send prayers. 😅

(Yes, I know it’s a rat snake… or at least that’s what I think and hope it is. 🤞🐍)

Hope you’re all having a much less entertaining evening than me!

Good morning! ☀️

I was sitting on the porch reading my Bible this morning when I looked up and caught this beautiful sunrise, with my little animal buddies wandering through the pasture.

Just a tiny glimpse of a happy moment and a reminder to slow down and appreciate the simple blessings. ❤️

I hope you’re all having a fantastic week!

🥚 Eggs will be out Saturday morning at 8:00 AM.

What’s something small that’s made you smile this week?

Happy Sunday, friends! ☀️🥚

We have Rainbow Dozens available today!

If you’ve been missing out on eggs lately, Sundays and holiday weekends are usually the best time to swing by and stock up. 🐓🌈

Tell us in the comments: 🍳 What’s your favorite way to eat eggs? Scrambled, fried, over easy, deviled eggs, egg salad, or something else?

As always, thank you for supporting our small family farm. We appreciate every single one of you and hope you have an amazing day! 💛

Good morning! ☀️

It’s 8:00 AM, and you know what that means… our Rainbow Dozens are stocked and ready! 🥚🌈

We hope you all have an amazing day! We’re planning to put more dozens out tomorrow as well, so stay tuned.

If you have any of our egg cartons sitting around, we’d love to have them back. Returning cartons helps us keep costs down and keeps the eggs flowing. We appreciate it so much! ❤️

Thank you for supporting our little farm and choosing fresh, local food! 🐓

📚✏️ Happy first week of school! 🍎

We had a great start to the week! I officially have ALL SIX of my kids in high school, middle school, and elementary school. No more little babies home with me during the day, although my youngest is only half-day, so I still get some extra time with her. 😊

I hope you’re all off to a great start—whether you’re a student, parent, or teacher!

Just a reminder: we’ll have fresh pasture-raised eggs out Saturday at 8:00 AM. 🥚🌈

Have a wonderful rest of your week, friends! ❤️

Hey friends! 😊

Life has been a little busier this summer than we expected, and because of that, I haven’t been able to update the page as regularly.

When I say busy, yes—there are still 6 kids, a farm, a family, a house we’re renovating, and all the everyday things that come with life. But there have also been a few things that have become a bit more serious and require some extra time and attention right now.

As for the farm, our flock is doing well! They’re simply going through their natural cycles. Some of our older hens have slowed down in egg production, and yes—we keep our old girls. They’ve worked hard and deserve their retirement. 🐔❤️ The younger hens are doing their best to keep up, but we allow our chickens to live naturally, the way they were created to. That means production ebbs and flows with the seasons and stages of life.

On the family side, we’re preparing for another school year while trying to soak up these last few weeks of summer. With a few new things happening in our personal lives, we’d appreciate any prayers and positive thoughts you’re willing to send our way.

For now, I’ll be stocking eggs on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

We hope you’re all having the best summer, and thank you for following along and supporting our little farm. 😊
