“What can I expect to find at Faith & Fields during the Maury County Farm Stand Crawl?”
During our first crawl in May we got a lot of great feed back, a lot of what you will find here is in response to that feedback. Y’all asked for:
-Public Restroom
-Refreshments (Farm Stand‘s offer a lot of baked goods, but not a lot of beverages)
-More time, too many wonderful farm stands to see!
-Something to do to stretch the legs with being in the car all afternoon
Here’s what we did about it:
-Opened up our pasture as a parking lot to ease traffic flow
-Rented a public restroom and handwashing station, located in the front left corner of the pasture parking lot
-Set up Corn Hole Boards
-Invited local, family owned small businesses from our community to participate in an artisan market. This meets the needs of guests wanting to stretch their legs, meet local small businesses, and get a beverage or refreshment.
-As usual we will have a fully packed out farm stand and a raffle going, free raffle ticket for every adult! See my next post for some of what will be on the menu and in the farm stand this weekend!
-The AFSA extended the crawl from 2 hours to 5! 🎉
Here’s what local family owned businesses you can find here (if you see “Repeat”, it means this is a returning artisan that was at our last market event):
