Sorry I have not been posting anything on this page lately! We are in the home stretch in this pregnancy and I have not been outside as much as I normally am. If you have never seen a goat drink out of a bottle, than here you go! Reece escapes the backyard and fields and instead of drinking out of the cats water bowl, he wants mommy to give him a bottle of water 🤣 hes my special unicorn.

His horn hole is all healed up now! But, now his other horn is growing strange 😅😅😅

Update on Reece! I've not done a good job keeping you all updated! Reece is doing so good after his horn removal. He is still supporting a cone to keep from scratching with his hoof, and he is also staying separated from the goats unless supervised. I let Reece out everyday to wonder around and Penny always escapes the field to stay by his side! I let Charlie out this day too so I could spend time with him. Charlie has been playing easy with Reece so I have allowed some small play as long as it doesnt get too rough.

Our girl Delilah had her first kid! She is a Kiko/Alpine and she was bred by a silver pygmy! Solid white doe kid!!! So precious and already coming up for loves from us!!! She is going to be such a sweet and docile personality girl!

Also, I've never seen so much milk for a first time! Delilah is definitely a milk goat! If we had a stand i wouldnt mind to milk her!

After the storms early this morning mommy had to get up at 4am to make her some waffles so of course she had to make an extra one just for me!!! Doesn't all goats have blueberry waffles at 4am after a storm? 🤣

Up next is Domino who I believe can be registered, we were told when we bought his mom "Cookie" that her calf could be registered, we are not huge into registration even though we have some registered herefords. But Domino is 9mos 25 days old. He is out of the black hereford pictured as her first calf and our registered hereford bull pictured as well (both on site). He is extremely calm, docile and easy to work in the head chute. Both of his parents are insanely easy to work in the head chute due to their docile temperaments. He would be a great herd sire and all of our bulls calves are easy calving and no problem with first time heifers! I have plenty of pictures of his calves newly born to show their size. Comment or message if interested. Again, I would rather not sell a registerable hereford bull calf at the stockyards unless we have to, we are keeping his mom and 3 of his half sisters so we cannot keep him.

Up next is Luke, our Braford bull calf. He could be steered if you wanted to do that though. We're debating keeping him and raising him for beef if I can't sell him online; he's marked up like a Hereford. He is out of Channing's brahmanstein cow and was her first calf and is 11mos 22days old. He is estimated high 600's to mid 700lbs. He is very calm, docile and easy to work in the head chute! Pictured is his dam with her new calf born recently and his sire our registered hereford bull (both on site). Comment or message if interested! Stockyards are known for docking hereford cattle and I would rather not take him since he looks more hereford, but also because I am 31wks pregnant and would rather not have to go 😅🤣

First calf I want to post is Midge our Dexter/Aberdeen Angus heifer at 10mos 23days old born June 4th 2025. Pictured with her is her dam the Aberdeen Angus (also called a lowline angus) Miss Moo who is 4yrs old at around 1100lbs and this was her first calf. She produced so well that she fed Midge and her best friends calf Sophie, they took turns feeding them both each day which was so funny, literally let them both eat off of her at the same time. Pictured is also her sire Diesel our dexter bull. Both have calm temperaments and Midge is super calm and easy to work in the head chute. We are asking market price for all of our calves and go off of most recent sales. If interested comment below or message me, I would rather not have to go to the stockyard right now (being 31wks pregnant 😅🤣) and would rather sell off the farm.
