We still have 19 Barred Rocks, 1 BYM rooster (could be Easter egger but I believe he came from my second coop that doesn’t have a blue egger, so my gut feel is it’s a Silver Laced Wyandotte x Buff Orpington or Black S*x Link, he’s coming in with what looks like a rose comb and he looks a lot like his dad in his wing feathers, 90% sure on him being a cockerel because his comb is coming in red, if my gut feeling is right his dad was a prick though, we had to get rid of the suspected father for attacking, put it in because I thought it was from my other coop that was covered by my Legbar), and 2 Easter Eggers (our Cream Legbar rooster was covering the flock of tan layers we have, they were put in to check the fertilization of the coop since we had extra room in the incubator) looking for new flocks! All 4-5 weeks old and off heat, 2 weeks away from being outdoors the entire time. Please PM Sarah Elisabeth Akers for more information. Pictures from hatch and all possible fathers. (Sorry for the rants, just wanted to include as much information on the babies as possible!) We also have PLENTY of eating eggs available, our ladies are laying around 4 dozen a day and we can’t use them all in a timely manner!
