Well we are sure glad it’s summer! Most of our Nannie’s have had their babies and we have had some very healthy happy little ones bouncing around. With plenty of milk to go around for our family and friends and lots more for our soap making. We have been blessed. We also added some hens to our bachelor flock Woodrow and Gus are sure glad of it. The girls have settled in nicely and have plenty to cluck about considering the baby goats are into everything.

Well we have finally decided to take the leap of faith and start making our very own homemade goat milk soap. I have to say we have been pleasantly surprised by our progress and our growing confidence in making this wonderful craft. Our house smells absolutely amazing. I personally have fallen in love with citrus sunrise and creamy comb. I can’t wait for these to cure in another five weeks. I honestly can’t wait to try our soap! We may have more than we can use. Lol.
