On Tap. In Cans. For Preorder

75 million years ago, 𝐗𝐄𝐍𝐔 was the tyrannical overlord of the Galactic Confederacy, that according to Scientologists consisted of 76 planets including Earth (then know as Teegeeack).

Faced with overpopulation, 𝐗𝐄𝐍𝐔 solved this crisis by devising a mass extermination. He gathered billions of citizens and froze them in a mixture of alcohol and glycol - the same solution that is currently cooling our beer tanks, and transported them to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airplanes.

The frozen extraterrestrials were placed around volcanoes and destroyed by detonating hydrogen bombs. Their disembodied souls/spirits (called thetans) were captured in electric traps and transported to a cinema where they were subjected to brainwashing and implanted with false realities such as the belief in God and Jesus.

Upon release, the traumatized thetans scattered, zoomed about, and attached themselves to human hosts and now live inside you. These thetans are the cause of all of your feelings of struggle, sadness, and dispair. Allegedly.

𝐗𝐄𝐍𝐔's story is foundation to Scientology yet highly classified. You too can learn about him by reaching their advanced teachings at Operating Thetan Level III at a cost estimated between $150,000-$200,000.

During my childhood, I adored the 80s game show Press Your Luck. For those that have only heard the phrase, "Big Bucks, No Whammies", this show was the source. Landing on a 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐘! would trigger a glorious sound effect and the appearance of these little bastards, known as Whammies, that would dance around the screen, gibberjab, taunt, blow themselves up with dynamite, and run each other over with trucks, with the ultimate result of wiping the contestant's cash balance to $0.

In 1984, Lebanon, Ohio's own Michael Larson identified five different light patterns in what otherwise appeared, and was intended to be randomized gameplay. Larson, using his VCR, memorized the patterns, got on, and wrecked the show - racking up $110,237 in cash and prizes (the largest U.S. cash prize ever won until 2006) . Suspecting cheating, CBS's Standards and Practices department attempted to withhold the winnings, but later conceded that Larson simply beat the game.

Larson would later lose most of the money in a real estate Ponzi Scheme and the rest when he withdrew $50,000 in one dollar bills, which were stolen from his home while he attended a Christmas party. >: [

Dipping into our archives, 𝐆𝐑𝐢𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐄, unseen since April, 2023, makes its debut in cans.

The title got its name twofold. First, and obviously, a 𝐆𝐑𝐢𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐄 is a facial expression of pain, disgust, or disapproval.

Second, we were delighted to learn the diabolical origins of the character. Evil 𝐆𝐑𝐢𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐄 was incepted, in 1971, as a four-armed monster that terrorized children by stealing their milkshakes. McDonald's soon identified that terror was a marketing mismatch when targeting small children and his design was reimagined. >: [

With 𝐏𝐑𝐢𝐍𝐂𝐢𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐢𝐓𝐢𝐄𝐒 we inadvertently kicked off a series of creamsicle smoothies inspired by low stakes villians. We would never celebrate actual villians - humans that committed real atrocities. The Hamburglar, however, is a villian, but the stakes are stealing your hamburgers. Professor Chaos, Dark Helmet, and your in-laws are additional examples of low stakes villians.

The first, a previous release, references Big Perm, I mean Big Worm.

Today is National Coconut Creme Pie Day

So Kathy and Ryan hammered out a Conquest variant.

Conquest represents the first seal of the apocalypse, the rider of the white horse, often interpreted as the anti-christ. The false prophet. The Great Deceiver. And bringer of tyranny.

On tap (and perhaps cans if you love it)

Tyranny - Smoothie with coconut, vanilla, cool whip, and graham cracker.
