In 8 weeks we will have Cornish cross broilers processed and ready for your freezer. These are the same type of chickens you would find in the super market but the big difference is in how they are raised. Our broilers live their life on pasture where they have access to grass, bugs, sunshine and all the things chickens love. They are not confined inside a chicken house breathing in all the dust of the factory farms. Chickens are happy in fresh air and sunshine, and happy chickens just taste better! This video is well worth the time to watch. Especially the first 15 minutes or so. Factory farming and feed lots are not the way we should be raising our food. This farm and may others like it, large and small show that there is a better way to raise food than the mainstream confinement operations that supply cheap foods full of hormones and medications to grocery stores. This is how we heal our population and our land. Support your local farmer!

We’ve got 10 pure Berkshire’s with Spring processing dates available. We’re taking deposits: $200 for whole pig and $100 for half pig. Any pigs not spoken for will be USDA processed and packaged for individual cut and sale.
