Libby and Payton at the Iowa State Fair. Even though 2020 was not the same, we were glad to have the livestock show at the state fair. Payton stood third in class with Micheal Scott behind the grand and reserve overall market goats that came from the same class. Libby stood 4th in class with her market doe. Both kids received purple ribbons.

Payton got it done at the county fair with his wether named “Micheal Scott.” Libby with her market doe. Libby’s doe will become part of our herd and hopefully add some great stock for the future. Payton’s wether will next head to the American Royal in Kansas City.

A few pics I snapped at the American Royal this past weekend. The kids in the ring with home raised wethers and a pair of home raised Market does in the trim stands. It was a fun family event for sure. Another year of showing in the books. We should be kidding in about 7 weeks.

These kids make it fun for all of us. Both Libby and Payton won their showmanships. Ryan Orr put his market doe in the market drive with a class win. Libby White put her wethers and market doe in the market championship drive and her doe in the champion drive all with class wins. Special thanks to Jarrett Paris for showing for us in the drive. He did a great job with Libby's market doe. Thanks again for all the help Jon Malone, Laith Smith, Jay Malone, Jayce Malone, Kolton Jeff Malone and the rest of the crew. And last but certainly not least thanks to Abby White for taking over at home when I am at work and can't chore. She is the reason we are able to have fun raising goats. Now onto the Iowa State Fair where we think we should have another respectable outing. Tonight we travel to the Final Drive and cheer on the Malone crew in Burlington as they try to bring it home! Thanks guys for all the support!
