We’ve been really enjoying time as a family this holiday season with our 1 year-old, taking time to recharge, and set our intentions and goals for next season. Nick and I wrapped up our 2023 goals last night and let me tell you the ambitions we have for this year are bountiful and amazingly intense. I say this every year but this is going to be one of the best years yet. We’ve only been farming for about 2 full seasons since I went full time and it’s so rewarding to soak in every good/bad experience, invest in educational classes and dissect how to do and be better. Farming and owning my own business is so darn hard and there are constant challenges, but there is also constant hope. I’m learning every single day and I know there will always be a time period to try something again or try it differently to get a better result. I’m anxiously waiting for this season ahead to see how all our hard efforts and strategic planning turns out. I hope you’ll join us at some point on the farm this season whether it be through a Flower Subscription (available on our website now!) or a farm stand bouquet pick up.
