It was an honor and a blast to feed the Dublin Scioto Irish Football team on the house this year! In 2001, I was the 4th worst football player in the state of Ohio, but I learned a lot from Bret J Ray and Karl Johnson about getting your butt kicked and getting back up. Oklahoma drills against Jay Richardson and Eric Polhemus will do that to ya. Turns out, that's a pretty perfect metaphor for both life and running a business!

From our kitchen to your fridge. 💚

When your Fit Fresh order leaves our kitchen, we don't hand it off to a third-party delivery service. Our own team handles every local delivery.

It gives us more control over the entire experience - from making and packing your meals to getting them where they need to go.

Is it more work on our end? Yep. 😂

But we think it's worth it.

We make it. We pack it. We bring it to you.

Folks, it never fails to put a huge smile on our faces when we get feedback like this.

We know there are a plethora of options out there for meal prep, and we take you choosing us very seriously.

Aside from our wonderfully talented team here at Fit Fresh, we wouldn't be able to make you what we do without or wonderful farm partners like . The jump in quality of both our beef and pork these last few months has been CRAZY, and we're very happy to know that you're enjoying it as much as we are!

Quick thank you video to all of you that let us cook for you, and to my amazing crew for crushing it while we were away in Bordeaux, Avignon, Nargaux, Sulac sur mer, St Emilion, Chateneuf du Papes, Nice, Cannes, and more. We are very grateful for the opportunity to take educational trips like this, and are incredibly excited to share some new dishes with you that are inspired by our adventures!

Meet Grant. 👋

Grant wears a bunch of hats for us here at Fit Fresh. R&D Sous Chef. Production 1st Mate. Transportation and Delivery Czar. Chicken Guy.

In other words: if you've eaten Fit Fresh, there's a pretty good chance Grant had something to do with getting that food from an idea in the kitchen to a meal in your hands.

We asked him a few very serious questions so you could get to know the man behind the chicken.

Top 5 life experience all time. Morning market trip in Pernes-les-fontaines. There is a woodfired outdoor grill where we are staying, so the locally raised skin-on pork and chicken are both brining for today and tomorrow.

Very excited to walk through the cooking and menu planning process with yall! Thanks a million for giving us the opportunity.

Fit Fresh is getting a little more plant-powered. 🌱

We've been wanting to expand our vegan options, and rather than pretending we know everything there is to know about vegan meats, we decided to do something smarter: Partner with people who do.

Enter our friends at 👋

They're a local, family-owned vegan deli right here in Columbus, and we're teaming up with them to bring even more vegan options to the Fit Fresh menu.

Because if we're going to offer it, it still has to pass the most important Fit Fresh test: Does it taste really freaking good?

More options. More variety. More local businesses working together. And apparently, more photos of Jon proudly holding bags of vegan meat. 😂

We're excited about this one. Stay tuned for what's coming and go show our friends at Seitan's Realm some love! 💚🌱

First full day in France. St Emillion, Bordeaux. Lunch at Logis de la Cadène , dinner at PAPIN Restaurant Bordeaux✨ . So many incredible flavor combinations, excellent technical ex*****on, and ingredients I have only read about and never tasted. The ideas are already flowing, can't wait to bring these ideas back to yall and transform them into delicious menu items. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for letting us cook for you. We wouldn't be able to enjoy and explore these amazing places and cultures without you.

Ps: sourcing locally is built in to the culture here, and is a huge part of why everything tastes so amazing. Beyond thankful for our hard working and brilliant farmers at Bluescreek Farm Meats Three Creeks Produce Lynd Fruit Farm and more for allowing us the same privilege. Hopefully King Family Poultry joins them soon!
