Babushka! While it technically means "grandmother" in Russian, here at Kelly Greens, babushka means, "Wowza! Everything is growing like crazy!" 😂

Opening day at the Hope Farmers Market is almost here! We can't wait to have some fun on The Square TOMORROW afternoon. This awesome crew of farmers, bakers, and makers will be serving up fresh produce, local meat, eggs, honey, sourdough, sweet treats and more! Come out and support our local small businesses.

We installed our summer shade cloth today.

At first glance it seems backwards—why would we want to reduce sunlight?

During the summer months, excessive heat can stress plants, increase tip burn, and slow growth. The shade cloth adds a notable cooling effect.

Every season brings new challenges, and part of farming is making adjustments to give plants what they need when they need it.
