Our friends at Crumb en Croute LLC recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at their croissant-making process. It's a beautiful 3-day labor of love involving lamination, fermentation and incredible skill.

And at the heart of it? Royal Guernsey Creamery butter.

Butter plays a huge role in baking. Flavor, fat content, and texture all contribute to those flaky layers and rich taste that make a croissant unforgettable.

Looking for a fun Mother’s Day weekend stop?

We visited Parkfield Farm this morning and there are TONS of beautiful plants available — plus farm animals, bakery treats, pasture-raised meats, butter, eggs, canola oil and more.

We also dropped off a selection of our Wisconsin-grown dahlia tubers

Honestly, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down for a minute and enjoy a country drive.

We’re open 10–2 p.m.—butter’s stocked, samples are out, and apparently the wildlife is cooperating too.
