Ramble Coffee Roasting and sourcing very special coffee in Columbus, OH We come alive when we're exploring. But how? We reside and roast in Worthington, Ohio. John + Sara

Inspired by a desire to see more of the country’s natural beauty, we designed and built a teardrop camper and set out with our two spirited children. Mile after mile, we found ourselves as taken with the beautiful vistas as we were with new friends we met along the way. We knew we wanted to bring that sense of adventure and community right back to our hometown. While we have always been intrigued by the complexity and variety that coffee has to offer, lately traversing the world of coffee has become something of an obsession for us. From learning about each bean's farm of origin to the unique adventure waiting in every roast, a spirit of exploration leads the way. Sara keeps the plates spinning. She is a modern day flower child, writer, and aspiring multi linguist full of curiosity for new experiences and interesting people, and can do a back flip under the right circumstances. When he's not roasting, John is a musician, designer, and woodworker with the occasional mild touch of obsessive retentiveness. He is a member of the Specialty Coffee Association, studies at the Academy of Coffee Excellence, and does his best not to take himself too seriously. Explore the world of coffee with us.

Freshly packed this morning and already making its way out the door.

Local orders are hitting porches today, Weiland’s Market has a fresh restock, the website is updated, and you’ll find it on the shelves at Global Gallery.

Juicy and fruit-forward, with nectarine and clementine up front, followed by caramel and chocolate syrup. Sweet, balanced, and bright enough to make a beautiful shot on its own, with plenty of depth to pair perfectly with milk.

Roasted specifically for espresso, but don’t let that stop you from reaching for the moka pot or AeroPress.

A good Kenya has a way of getting your attention.

We’ve been roasting and brewing samples from Kenya with green coffee from Kifahari Green Coffee Importers, looking closely at coffees from Karani, Nyanja, and Gachami.

Kenyan coffees are known for their crisp, mouthwatering acidity — a defining characteristic that makes them so distinctive and keeps us coming back for another sip.

Some coffees tell you what they want right away. Others make you slow down and pay attention.

Long before the cup, there’s this — rows of seedlings, waiting. Variety, climate, soil, harvest, processing: each one leaves a fingerprint that never quite washes out.

We look for coffees with something to say, then roast in small batches to help them say it.
