🌽The reviews are in and it’s official: Our first variety of Sweetcorn is a HIT!!
🌽Aptly named “KICKOFF”, the ears appear full and beautiful (remember last year’s first corn?-it was not pretty🫣) but the Best part~ it’s DELICIOUS! I ate 2 ears last night, but really wanted to eat ALL 6 from my bag!😋
🌽As you celebrate Father’s Day this weekend… Sweetcorn is the side dish you MUST have!
🌽Grill it, Smoke it, Microwave it, or Boil it~any way you do it up, you can’t go wrong!
🌽Don’t forget the BUTTER! 🧈

🔲Our high tunnels have been a lifesaver when farming in the humid, foggy Mid Ohio Valley…they have been helping Farmers for over a decade keep excessive moisture & rainfall off the tomato plants, which keeps them healthy and producing delicious tomatoes for us! *Note: these are NOT a greenhouse! The ends are open and we can roll the sides up on sunny days…and the plants are growing in soil, not water or coconut fiber. Did You Know…ZUCCHINI & YELLOW SQUASH are usually the FIRST homegrown produce to arrive at the Wagons each Season? Here’s some interesting facts:
🌿 It takes 33 to 55 days from planting to harvest! 🌼 After the flowers bloom & fruit appears, it can grow up to 2 inches per day‼️
🌿 You should harvest between 6-8 inches for best size , and pick frequently to avoid giant (seedy)fruit!
🌼 It has virtually no flavor, so you can add it to so many things to enhance the nutrition (lots of antioxidants) and get some of your Daily 5 in…(3 vegetables/2 fruits).
🍛Shred it and add to bread, casseroles, omelettes, brownies & more!
