“Little Free Pantry but…put a little pride on it.” The pantry was full today but I cleared out several “home-packaged” and expired items and filled in spaces with lots of accessible proteins and an enormous peanut butter from our 96 yo neighbor!!! Happy pride everyone!! ❤️❤️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️❤️

Hey neighbors 👋💛

The little free pantry is having a whole moment today and is fully stocked! We’ve got tuna, pickles, Vienna sausages, pancake mix & syrup, cereals, soup, pasta, crackers, oatmeal packets, tasty seasonings….and even a can opener!

As always: take what you need, leave what you can, and help keep this little box of kindness going strong!

Also my NY resolution a year ago was to not take it as a personal affront when people forgot their high-beams were on, blinding me. I’ve successfully mastered that and now I need to stop being incensed at 5 # bags of rotten potatoes. 👏 Stop 👏 leaving 👏 produce👏 KTHX

We can’t plant in the garden for another month (thanks Ohio!) but a gorgeous day is ALWAYS a good time to donate shelf stable, non-perishable canned, pouched, and boxed foods to the Little Free Pantry!! PLEASE NOTE expired food,all home-portioned packs of goodies, and all fresh produce should stay at your house and not be donated. We cannot accept these and must throw them away. We appreciate your giving hearts but this isn’t the right place.

We stopped by the pantry this afternoon, to do a “fit check” (really to see if what we had would FIT)…and found it stuff...

We stopped by the pantry this afternoon, to do a “fit check” (really to see if what we had would FIT)…and found it stuffed full….of a LOT of expired, homemade, perishable, inappropriate foods for this little box. We are so grateful for everyone who wants to help…please continue to value our neighbors in need by adding only un-expired, non-perishable foods. Good news: the box is still full of delicious, donated items! We are so thankful for your generous spirits!!

As always: Thank you for such generous donations and support! Remember this is a “take what you need, leave what you can” project but please always only leave non-perishable, un-expired foods. (We throw away produce and expired goods.) Also the time change doesn’t leave a big window for well-lit-pictures so props to the lighting crew tonight!!
