Last weekend, a couple members of our Exec team went down to Louisville, Kentucky for AGR’s national convention. In Louisville, they learned many valuable tools to implement into our chapter and use for years to come.

In addition, the chapter took home some hardware, one being the Sleeter Bull Most Improved Chapter Award! An award that goes to show the steps men graduated, still active, and future members will continue to uphold for many years to come!

This weeks Brother of the Week is Ryan Flax! Ryan is a senior Animal Science major from Springfield, Ohio and was our past VNR Alumni Relations and Noble Ruler! This past Thursday we hosted our Alumni Mentorship program! The brothers were put in separate groups relating to their career and professional interests. Each group would have either one or multiple alumni mentors that they can reach out to for guidance and leadership while advancing through college and for post college too.

The alumni mentorship program allows brothers to build professional relationships with their mentors while also helping brothers gain valuable skills for their future industry.

A special thank you goes to Dr. David Ash for being our guest speaker! Dr. Ash is a strategic advisor, facilitator, and organizational learning leader in agriculture. He’s a graduate from Purdue University and has founded his own company in the agricultural industry. Thank You Dr. Ash for your wisdom and knowledge in the agricultural industry!
