Serve your family locally raised, certified organic fed turkey that has spent it's life grazing on rotating pastures.

Our turkeys spend their lives out in the open air pasture from the moment they can handle the daily shifts in temperature. They live their best life grazing on grass, wildflowers, bugs, and a daily ration of certified organic food that is grown locally.

We raise turkeys of all sizes and cuts but we are known as home of the 45-pounder!

The early morning calm to the 18-hour days we're pulling around here.

Each day starts with paddock rounds, poultry tractor checks, opening coop, feeding, water refills.

There's nothing more peaceful than walking the farm grounds before most are awake. It's a great opportunity to recenter oneself in preparation for the newly blessed day.

Turkeys are always up the minute dawn breaks.

Fermented feed is the daily house special on the farm.

We regularly prepare buckets of dry feed soaked in water to create a probiotic rich mash for our chicks and turkeys.

Fermented feed is known to have benefical properties on immunity, digestion, and vitamin absorbtion.

Moving day took place on Saturday! Our new layer chicks and turkey poults moved on up to more prime real estate. All are spread out across the farm acerage.

It was a multi-hour event with all hands on deck. We needed the tractors unprepped for baby chicks and driven out to the fields. Electric fence chargers needed to be set and tested. Ground predators are a large threat. Mink, raccoon, fox, skunk, opossum, and coyote are the greatest concerns.

Waterers and feeders set. We love the 8-gallon waterers. And each chick/poult had to be transported to cages and driven in lots to their new plush accomodations.

Our turkey poults have a 10,000 sq ft paddock that will be rotated to new ground every 3-4 weeks. This ensures the health of animal and land. They are loving spreading their wings and foraging all day.

Our new layer chicks are still too young to integrate with our OGs so they are paddock sharing from the chicken tractors within the layer chicken pasture. We look forward to merging them when they catch up in size. Our OGs are already interested, especially our resident roosters.

Raub-Rae Farm when only the best will do!

A beautiful morning drive through God's Country in Brown City, MI to load up on farm feed.

The Linck Family runs this wonderful operation from their homestead. This self-serve business offers Organic Hay and Feeds (Chicken,Turkey, Goat, Pig), Cracked/Whole Corn, Soy-Free, Oats, Wheat, Kelp.

You almost always are met by the furry welcoming committee but can also be blessed by running into the founders and operators, John and Barb.

A sign it's almost moving day!

We spent the early morning hours transporting supplies, sprucing up some poultry tractors, and setting up 100s of feet of paddock electric fencing. Because our poults are still small the field was brushhogged last week and a finer mower pass took place yesterday.

10,000 sqft of fresh ground will become home to our turkeys soon. Every 3-4 weeks they will be moved to a new 10,000 sqft paddock to keep up the health of the animal and the land.

There are lots of different stages to raising turkeys. For the first 6-7 weeks they have different needs every couple weeks before care starts to level off as a routine.
