Well the dust has settled and we are home from the One and Only Midwest Stud Ram Sale, this will surely be one to remember!

Thank you to Willoughby Sales for putting on a top notch event, your hard work was noticed and appreciated. Thank you to my wife, family, dad, Mike & Leslie Nelsh, and Chad & Elizabeth Kiefer for your support in making this possible. Also a big thank you to Dylan and Andrew for getting the buck shown and looking awesome out in the ring. It takes an army of people to make this happen and I’m glad to call each of them some of my closest friends.

We were blessed and are humbled to have had the 2026 Reserve Supreme Champion and Katahdin Champion Ram with our yearling ram BMB 0767 Grand Bam!

We were blown away with the compliments we’ve received the past couple days. He had a lot of friends sale day and ended up at a great home in Kansas. Congratulations to Todd Bauer and Todd Jr. Bauer at Rack of Lamb Corral for purchasing him for $11,000. Thank you for investing in our program, we look forward to the lambs you get out of him!

RIV 1056 Mile Marker out with his ewes for fall lambs!

This winter has been cold up in Indiana, the ewes are shedding their winter coats and finally looking towards the warmer weather.

A big thanks to Jonah Lasater, at Lasater Livestock in MO for investing in 2 super fall ewe lambs. They are flush mate sisters out of RIV 986 and JCB 1132.

They also purchased 1/2 interest in a fall buck lamb out of RIV 900 and RIV 916 High Genes (pictures to come later).

Frankie & Michelle Stiefel from Sand Mountain Katahdins in Alabama came up this past weekend to pick up a new breeding piece!

Some lambs are coming out of JCB 1132, the fall ram we sold at the Ohio Showcase Sale this year! We have a small group of fall lambs out of him and we have been impressed! Check out It’ll Do Farms!
