Getting a goat out of the fence is usually an adventure… WITHOUT the help of others. Tonight was especially frustrating, but I got her out finally!

She also bought herself another bar-of-shame!

Let’s see how long this one lasts her!

Water tanks in the summer = algae and murky mess! Today we cleaned the tanks & decided to try something new!

Goldfish! 🐟🐡

I’ve hear these are a good, natural way of keeping tanks clean. Good thing we have friends that have extra!

It’s been a sad, slow day around here. We’ve been nursing this sweet boy, trying to get him back to health for about two weeks. And his body just didn’t cooperate. This morning I found him down 💔

This is the hard part. Not the work, not getting up early or staying up late, not cleaning pens. But losing these sweet animals.

I know it’s part of the gig. Doesn’t mean my heart isn’t sad today. Rest easy little buddy ❤️

I guess they haven’t gotten themselves into chaos lately and they knew it.

Until I realized she stuck her head through, I was genuinely worried, because my husband was out of town and I wasn’t going to be able to lift the hay bale up.

Thank goodness I just had to help her reposition so she could pull her head out.
