Dottie is doing great acclimating to the “goat life” down in the large pasture 🐐

She’s still receiving a little grain twice a day and she’s still pretty small, so every evening we bring her up to her little area with the bunny to keep her safe. Then bring her back down to graze for the day.

Eventually she’ll live with the other goats but for now we’re loving having her close by us 🥰

I gave them a chance but had to pull her out twice today and she can’t live with her head in the fence 🐐

One of my favorite things is watching our son learn by doing. ❤️

Last night, he was helping Dad fill the seed tender and got a little shower of seed to the head 😂🌱

A good reminder that farming is full of lessons, laughs, and learning as you go. Wouldn’t trade these moments for anything.

This momma has been a somewhat forgetful mom since the beginning, but it’s really started taking a toll on baby’s stomach these past few days.

Since momma wasn’t letting baby drink enough he took matters into his own hands and started eating too much grass. Which caused quite the stomach ache.

Momma and baby will spend some time in the barn and hopefully we can avoid him eating too much greens and he can get back on the milk 🥛
