Our bouquet-making season is over, but the flowers are still working hard out in the field. The coneflower patch is quite the pollinator hotspot, and we never get tired of seeing who comes to visit!

Speaking of pollinator magnets, Joe Pye W**d is blooming now and it's quite the butterfly hotspot. This particular plant was browsed down to the ground by the deer earlier this spring, and I wasn't sure it would bounce back. But here it is throwing the tiger swallowtails a party! 🥳

Our liatris is just starting to bloom, and the pollinators can't wait!

These bright purple spikes are already a magnet for butterflies, skippers, and bees. And the flowers bloom from the top down, so the feast is just getting started for our garden friends. 🦋

This time of year you can find several kinds of black butterflies visiting your garden in GA. Do you know which one this is? 👀

A few clues:
✨ Its wings have a beautiful blue shimmer.
🧡 But notice the bright orange spots on the underwings.
🌿 Its caterpillars feed on a host plant that makes them distasteful to predators.
