It has been quite some time since I posted anything here on our homestead page. After several months of treatments and years of prayer, we welcomed our second born on April 11th. With that being said, during this pregnancy, as we approached the 3rd trimester, we decided it was best for our family to rehome most of our birds due to the challenges caring for so many while waddling around waiting for our little lady. We unfortunately have lost all that was left but one due to a predator on the property. The last was rehomed today. We won't have eggs to sell for hatching or consumption, but we hope to in the future when the time comes.
There is a season for all things. They come and go sometimes. This new season, I am taking time some time away from our birds. However, I still plan to share recipes and anything homestead related 🩷 thank you for the support. It was wonderful diving into something I enjoyed doing and learning about while sharing our growth, eggs, and passion for chicken tending
