GEAUX 2 BBQ by Lincoln Andrews made it home from the 8th annual Sip & Swine BBQ Festival at Cool Ray Feild in Lawrenceville Ga.
We had a Awesome day and brought home some hardware to show for it. I am still shaking for what our team accomplished today..Thanks to Brian Linn , Chris Fewell, for helping out this weekend and my family for coming out and supporting us.Thanks to my wife Alicia McAlister Andrews and Lorin Andrews for supporting me as well. Thank you Lord for your blessings. Here is where we finished

Ribs 7th. 3rd on our table
Pork 2nd. 1st on our table
Brisket....43rd. ouch 4th on our table
6th Overall out of 65 teams

GEAUX 2 BBQ by Lincoln Andrews did a Competition test run on wings. Need to tweak a little to get them right. Overall I was satisfied with the way they turned out. Used the Loot N B***y wheel method. I didn't invent the wheel, just trying to tweak it.

Hey everyone, This Saturday come on out to the Fall Fest in Downtown Commerce. Today Geaux 2 BBQ Competition Team presented Banks County Rotary a check to support the Food 2 Kids program. We raised $2156 by the way of our annual Boston Butt sell. We couldn't have done this without the support from our community and for the ones who donated/Sponsored us to help offset the cost of the meat. I want to thank David Kinnard for all your help on staying up during the night to help cook. Cameron Boswell thanks for loaning us your smoker to get all butts done in a timely manner. Hello everyone I need your help. My Geaux 2 BBQ Competition team will be doing a Boston Butt Fundraiser to benefit the Food 2 Kids Program here in our area. We are looking for donation/ Sponsors to help cover the cost of the meat so that 100% of the proceeds would go to the Food 2 Kids . This is something very dear to my heart and anything would be greatly appreciated. Please PM me if you would like to donate/Sponsors.

Geaux 2 BBQ had a fun day at the BBQ Boogie & Blues festival in Calhoun Ga. It was our very 1st Pro Division Competition and I couldn't be more proud of what our team accomplished today. We heard our name called 3 times today. Here's where Geaux 2 BBQ finished.
15th Chicken
10th Ribs
9th Pork
19th Brisket
10th Overall out of 38 teams
I could not do this without my teammates, David Kinnard, Brian Linn , Alicia McAlister Andrews, Lorin Andrews , Levi Seagraves. Thank you Christopher Chris Fewell and team for all you do.. A big shout out to the GBC members for encouraging me to try cooking in Pro. Cary Chasteen ,a Big thank you for being there when I had questions, your a great friend.
