Farm Update
Friday 5/29/26
We are closed, strawberry season has come to an end. Sadly sooner than we expected. Thank y'all again for a wonderful strawberry season. We still have plenty of onions for sale, and red/purple cabbage. We will be putting that on the honor system so look out for those posts. In the meantime call 706-476-4747 to arrange pickup. The check goes in the mail today for strawberry plants for next year. We will be preparing the fields, planting pumpkins, and getting the maze going. Remember we have the 4th of July gathering coming up and watch for posts for blueberries. We will be making a trip to Cordele for watermelons 🍉 and cantaloupes around July 4th and will be taking orders. Thank y'all for supporting Merk Farms

We have a ton of strawberry onions that we are discounting to $1/pd. Summer grilling needs sweet onions!

WE ARE CLOSED FOR THE DAY
Folks this is not the post we are ready to make but we went from one extreme to other really fast. We are blessed beyond measure for the STRAWBERRY 🍓 season that we have had, even though it has been a shorter season than we would have liked we need to end on a positive. None of this would have happened without the support of y'all, our wonderful customers. We are thinking this Thursday 5/28/26 will be our last day. We have had so much rain so far and there is to much rain coming. If you have placed orders we will try to fill them, if you are interested in runners reach out to 706-476-4747 to coordinate that, we are not going to sell plants like we had hoped to. We are sorry for the bad news, but are thankful for this year's season.

Strawberry Update
Monday 5/25/26 we are open today from 9am to 5pm for U Pick strawberries. The fields are full of delicious strawberries, but with heat last week and now the rain our season is sadly coming to an end. From now until the end we are offering U Pick gallons for $16/gallon, we are also running an onion 🌰 sale $1/pound. Keep your boots on it is muddy we look forward to seeing y'all on this day of remembrance.
