Partida understood the energy needs of the United States Military as she has worked in the force prior to attending schooling at Texas A&M University – Commerce. With eagerness and focus, she and several classmates discovered a way to provide the military with natural energy and caffeine via stick-on patches. These patches were revolutionary and emitted 10 hours’ worth of energy into the wearer of the patch with no energy drink flavors to taste or several patches to place on the skin. The company was founded by JenAnne Shumway, Zackery Smith,, Maricela Partida, Kristyn Phillips, Alok Upadhaya, and Landon Weems. In October of 2010, inTENse Energy had a governmental contract with the military to ship the energy patch containing caffeine overseas in bulk orders. January of 2011 saw the growth of the company as military personnel desired to purchase individual patches for civilian use. Since then, inTENse Energy has shaped the energy-product market by creating two additional patches for the public. These all-natural, zero-calorie, and no after-crash patches have transformed the way consumers view additional means of energy.
