WE ARE HIRING!

Moonwater Farm Collective seeks a Culinary Educator to support our Seed to Shelf™ youth program. Are you looking for purpose in the kitchen – a place to share your product development knowledge, expand your capacity to work with youth, and support a thriving urban farm?

You might have experience as a chef, culinary instructor, caterer, food entrepreneur, or food systems practitioner. While experience with food entrepreneurship is a plus, curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to learn alongside fellows are equally important. Most importantly, you are excited about helping young people discover their own strengths and possibilities through food.

We are eager to hear from you and understand how you can support and amplify the culinary program at Moonwater Farm.

Seed to Shelf™ is a 24-week paid fellowship at Moonwater Farm for system-impacted youth that uses food, fiber, and medicine as pathways to leadership, entrepreneurship, and community well-being. The cohort gains hands-on experience in culinary arts, herbalism, regenerative land stewardship, product development, and cooperative economics while working together to bring a farm-based product or service to market. With mentorship and project-based learning, fellows develop applied skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of how food systems can strengthen communities

This is a temporary grant-funded position.

Check out the details at the link in bio.
