Wow. Today and yesterday I sold out of all my sourdough goodies. So grateful for everyone who came out and supported Concho Fire Department and me. It was so much fun. I appreciate you all. ❤️❤️

Lots of rain in over 24 hours means no sun for the Solar panels. Luckily sun is out this morning. Still grateful and blessed.

Ending total rainfall for the ranch. Best we have had for rain in over 5 years. Highest this rain meter has been since I put it in after our flood 5 years ago. I’m sure the rain that year would have been over what it holds. lol.

Woke up to no power due to no sunlight for over 24 hours. But luckily the sun is out this morning with some clouds but it’s there which means didn’t last long. Dave flipped the switch and we are back in business. ❤️. Just minimal power use to give the system a chance to recharge and recover. Moving the solar panels to include first and last light is now higher on the to do list.

Been raining non stop since last night. Grateful for every drop.

There was a small break in the rain like a 5-10 minute pause. So I was able to bring my phone outside and grab some photos.

Most rain we have had in the last 5 years. July was 5 years since our flood year. Love that we are blessed with moisture to grow food for our animals. We haven’t had to feed hay at all in a while. But we only have 8 goats currently. But my mom of quads is pregnant so that will change in November.

We said goodbye to our old man Bingo. Which we had stretched out as long as we could. He was the sweetest buck ever and gave us some amazing kids over the years. We will miss this sweet guy.

We also lost our dog, R***r, way too soon today too. This was an extremely difficult and will take a long time to heal from. I pray we never have to go through this again.

Rest in peace to both my sweet boys. We love you so much. You will live on forever in our hearts and memories.

Thank you so much to Dave & Shelly Howard on the purchase of Sweet Pea and Juniper. They are on their way to their new home in Utah. We know these girls will do great for your program. Make sure to send us updates.

We are definitely going to miss these two sweet girls. Hope you love them as much as we do.

Only goat still looking for a new home from our ranch til the next set of kids. Next year we will have one more mom who will be going but otherwise only babies going forward and all babies born are available.

Until then we only have Jerry to go. He’s a sweet guy and over 200 lbs. we will get him on the scale next week and get a new weight.

We have 3 goats looking for new pastures. If you know of anyone looking, we have:

🫛 Sweet Pea- Purebred Kiko born 1/8/24. She is a perfect mom. Never needed assistance. Had 2 sets of kids with two different bucks. Both times she passed waddles and similar markings to her to her kids. She is pictured here with her daughter who is also available. Sweet Pea is not a goat who balloons out in her pregnancies and she recovers really well. She is currently still in a little milk as her daughter stays with her. She is one of my favorite moms and is a hard one to let go of. She will be a fantastic die for someone.

🐐Juniper - Purebred Kiko Doling (Registerable but not registered) born 11/27/25. She is a little mini of her mom. And super sweet.
And last but not least-

🐐Jerry - Kiko Wether born 4/12/24. This beast of a guy is over 200 lbs but also a friendly boy.

Kikos are a hearty, disease & parasite resistant breed. They provide meat milk and cashmere. Our goats are from a closed disease free herd. We are proud of the herd we have spent the last almost 7 years building. We get constant fast growing kids from our herd. If you think you are the right match for our goats, let’s chat.
