Hot day calls for a hot cocktail with thanks to J.M. Hirsch

Concoct-Lime Daiquiri

3 oz Hard Truth Coconut Toasted Coconut Rum
1 oz coconut milk
1/2 oz lime juice
1-2 oz simple syrup
Small Dash of salt

Craft: combine ingredients with ice and shake and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with lime wheel.

According to Greek mythology Hades turned Minthe into the mint plant so he could move on to another gal. A text would have sufficed! Join us in growing your own mint. Most supermarkets sell it or your local garden center. It can be invasive so potting it might be wise. It needs about six hours of light per day, a good potting soil with compost and enough water to keep the soil moist. It likes to be trimmed and makes a great garnish to go with your Wicked Mint cocktails.
