Each one has taught me something and I carry those lessons into the next one. The biggest thing I have learned is ..don't waste a moment because it will be over in a blink of an eye...don't take time for granted...slow down and savor every moment because our best friends leave us far too soon. Also as much as your heart breaks in loosing them , they want you to continue to love and it is in their honor that you save another soul. I miss my other dogs so much, Syd's passing is right before mother's day and I see Luna slowing down some these days and I can't believe how much time has gone since Syd left and Luna came into my Life and all you can do is pray for more time, that you are blessed enough to have this deep unconditional love. I would rather love like that and break a million times then to never have had that bond or love to begin with...not knowing that kind of love is where the real loss is...
