Hi Folks -
Our crop is finally coming in. The nights have been cold, and the overnight ripening has been slow. We are keeping the appointment only system as it is helpful in timing pickers more evenly and better matching them to the availability of fruit.
Our first day is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 9.
Make appointments here, generally up to three days in advance:

When booking, select Small/Medium/Large based on your best estimate as to how much you'd like to pick. To reflect any changes in crop conditions we will update available time slots most evenings, so check for new openings frequently. If by chance we run out or get rained out you will get a cancellation notice.
If you don't make an appointment it's very likely there will be no berries for you to pick when you arrive. Your actual arrival time is flexible - if you book a slot before 1pm then arrive anytime after opening hours and before 1pm, if you book a slot after 1pm arrive anytime after 1pm and before closing.
You do not need to book if you only want jam or vinegar - just stop over.

Hi Folks,

It's a dismal crop this year. The drought has stunted or killed off quite a few plants. On top of it all, deer ate a large chunk of the field (for the first time ever in our 40+ years!)
So pickings are very very slim. And the only way we can see to open is to direct you to make an appointment here:

Our first day is Saturday Sept. 3.

Your actual arrival time is somewhat flexible - if you book a slot before 1pm then arrive anytime between opening hours and 1pm, if you book a slot after 1pm arrive anytime after 1pm and before closing hours.

We expect to be able to serve 5-10 people per day. You can book up to three days in advance. We'll update available time slots most evenings and as the crop allows so check for new openings frequently. When booking select Small/Medium/Large so we can better adjust the number of open time slots. If by chance we get picked out or get rained out you will get a cancellation notice.

You do not need to book if you only want jam or vinegar - just stop over. But I would wait a week because our inventory is very low.

Sorry for the hassle - it's just one of those years.

2021 PYO Raspberry harvest starts Saturday August 28.

Please check our page before coming over. Sometimes we close abruptly if we are picked out or rained out. As in the past we will post daily picking conditions.

If you normally pick on the weekend it is just as important to please consider coming on a weekday instead. Under normal circumstances the start of each weekday is usually quiet. There should be plenty of berries for everyone but problems may arise if too many people come at once - something that occasionally happens on weekends.

Our opening times remain the same as last year and are listed below:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday- Friday: 11am - 6pm
Saturday and Sunday 10 am -6 pm

Our PYO 2020 harvest is over. We wish you happy forthcoming holidays and hope to see you next year.

Today is our last PYO day of the 2020 harvest. We were well picked over the last several days. There are some berries left but the picking is not easy. We will open at 11 am this morning but may need to close early. Thank you for your patronage and we hope to see you next year.
